Graphite and kelly green — old Arlington steel meets streetwear cool. The crown and flat visor are a deep charcoal grey wool blend, clean and structured with a grey top button. The underside of the brim flips to a bold kelly green — a flash of color that catches eyes the moment the cap comes off your head. The front panel carries the retro 1972–1980 Texas Rangers logo: a white baseball in a white cowboy hat, with "Texas Rangers" arching in red script and a blue drop shadow giving it real depth. On the left side sits the reason this hat matters — a fully embroidered Globe Life Park Final Season patch marking 1994–2019, detailing the stadium facade in navy, orange, and gold with red banner text reading "FINAL SEASON." The rear panel shows the classic flat MLB batterman logo in blue, white, and red, with a New Era 59Fifty flag tag at the left side seam.
Globe Life Park in Arlington opened on April 11, 1994, and for 26 seasons it was Texas Rangers baseball — blistering summer heat, $1 hot dog Wednesdays, Friday fireworks, and two back-to-back World Series runs in 2010 and 2011. On September 29, 2019, the Rangers beat the New York Yankees 6–1 in the final game ever played there, with former players and President George W. Bush — who helped build the park — in the stands to say goodbye. This patch was worn on the actual uniforms all season long, making it an official sendoff to one of the most distinctively Texas ballparks in American League history. When Globe Life Field opened next door in 2020, the old park became history — and this hat became a document of it.
How to Wear It
The Streetwear Edit
Lead with the grey-on-green contrast. Pair with a washed black oversized hoodie, straight-leg charcoal cargo pants, and Nike Air Max 1 "Dark Grey/University Red" — the red and grey colorway pulls the Rangers logo off the crown perfectly. A green sherpa or fleece outer layer echoes the under brim without being too literal.
Her Way
Wear it slightly forward with a fitted white mock-neck crop, high-waisted wide-leg grey trousers, and New Balance 550 "White/Sea Salt." The kelly green liner becomes a detail people notice on second look — tilt the bill just enough to show it. A silver chain and minimal silver hoops keep the look editorial without losing the hat's weight.
The Archives
This is a commemorative piece first and a cap second. Display it alongside a 2010 or 2011 ALCS program, a Globe Life Park ticket stub, or a Rangers throwback jersey — the patch's 1994–2019 dates make it the anchor of any Rangers collector shelf. If you wear it, pair it with a vintage Rangers tee and raw denim to let the cap do the talking.
