The International League has been running since 1884 — and this cap carries that whole lineage on its left panel. Vegas gold wool crown pairs with a dark forest green visor for a two-tone split that hits like early-90s stadium lighting. The front panel features the Buffalo Bisons' signature script logo in green and gold, anchored by their cartoon bison mascot mid-swing — chunky, confident embroidery with real depth and dimension. Left side wears the diamond-shaped "International League Since 1884" woven patch in green, gold, and white. The under brim is a clean bright green. On the rear sits a silver-bordered rectangular New Era patch embroidered with a bison and four stars on a dark green ground — the MiLB affiliate badge done right.

The International League dissolved into "Triple-A East" in 2021 when MLB took control of the minors and reshuffled everything. One season later it got its name back, but hats from this window — the patch era, the pre-consolidation years — document something that felt genuinely uncertain. The Buffalo Bisons have been calling Triple-A home in one form or another since before most professional franchises existed, eighteen Hall of Famers passing through their roster over the decades. A fitted honoring that history in vegas gold and forest green, with the full league patch stitched on the side, isn't a souvenir. It's a primary source.

How to Wear It

The Streetwear Edit
The gold-green split is doing a lot of work here — pair it with a washed olive Carhartt WIP Detroit jacket, a heavyweight white tee, and New Balance 574s in grey and green or the BAPE x New Balance 550 in forest. Dark wash straight-leg Levi's 501s keep it grounded. The two-tone visor gives the fit a vintage ballpark energy without trying too hard.

Her Way
Pull the gold forward — a mustard ribbed knit midi skirt, a fitted cream or sage long-sleeve, and a brown leather bomber with minimal hardware. Chunky lug-sole boots in tan or dark brown anchor it. The green visor reads as a deliberate color choice rather than a sports reference, which is exactly the point.

The Collector's Eye
This one lives in a specific lane: MiLB patch hats with real league history, not a modern throwback or a manufactured heritage moment. Stack it with a deadstock flannel — green or tan plaid — raw selvedge denim, and clean white Nike Air Max 90s or a worn-in pair of New Balance 992s. Let the hat be the conversation piece. The "Since 1884" patch will handle the rest.
