Chicago Cubs corduroy in white, red, and that unmistakable sky blue — built around one summer night at Wrigley. The crown is a thick white corduroy with tight, well-defined ribs running front to back — the texture you can feel across the room. The visor is a clean red, no nonsense, structured flat. Flip it over and you get a grey under brim that grounds the whole build. Front and center sits the Cubbie bear logo from the 1979–1993 era: the bear head rendered in powder blue inside a red circle, embroidered with crisp metallic detail. On the left side panel, the 1990 All-Star Game commemorative patch — "Chicago Cubs" arching above the Cubs "C" logo, "1990" anchored to either side in gold metallic thread, "All-Star Game" scrolled in a banner below, all sitting on a sky blue and white field with the MLB silhouette logo at the base. The back crown carries a clean New Era flag patch, and the MLB silhouette is embroidered on the rear panel in blue and red against the white corduroy.

The 1990 Midsummer Classic was one for the history books — the American League shutting out the National League 2-0 at Wrigley Field on July 10, 1990, under the lights in front of 39,071 fans, with Julio Franco taking home MVP honors on a rain-soaked Chicago summer night. The Cubs were the hosts, Wrigley was the stage, and this hat is the artifact. Corduroy fitted hats from this era don't come up often — the material alone sets it apart from every pinstripe and wool cap in your rotation. The bear-head logo ran on Chicago helmets and jerseys from 1979 through 1993, which means this cap is locked to a very specific window of Cubs history: pre-lights-at-Wrigley becoming routine, pre-1990s rebuilds, the era of Ryne Sandberg and Andre Dawson roaming the outfield. Collectors aren't just buying a hat here — they're buying a timestamp.

How to Wear It

The Streetwear Edit
White corduroy demands something equally textured underneath — a heavyweight cream or off-white crewneck fleece, baggy washed denim in a mid-blue that picks up the sky blue in the bear logo, and a pair of Jordan 1 High "Chicago" OGs to close the loop on the red-white-blue palette. The whole fit stays tonal and vintage-leaning without trying. Let the hat be the loudest thing going.

Her Way
High-waisted wide-leg trousers in a warm off-white or bone, tucked-in fitted red ribbed long-sleeve, and clean white New Balance 574s. The red visor pulls straight from the shirt; the white corduroy crown keeps it light. Stack a thin gold chain and keep the rest minimal — the hat does all the talking it needs to.

The Archives
This one deserves the grail treatment. Pair it with a vintage Cubs tee — ideally 1989 or 1990 era — tucked loosely into straight raw denim, and a pair of clean Air Jordan 3 "True Blue" or White Cement to echo the powder blue in the patch and bear logo. Nothing loud competing with it. The side patch is the statement; the rest of the fit is the frame. Let people stop you to ask about it — and be ready to tell them exactly what they're looking at.
