Angel Stadium turned 50 in 2016, and Hat Club marked the occasion with one of the wildest colorways in the vault. The crown is a deep red wool, paired with a khaki/brown structured visor that gives the whole build an earthy, food-inspired warmth — no accident given the Del Taco-inspired colorway. Front and center is the classic winged "A" logo embroidered in gold and lime green on a white felt base, the same retro mark the Angels wore through some of their most iconic seasons. On the left panel sits the commemorative side patch: a detailed embroidered badge reading "Angel Stadium · 1966 ★ 2016" with the franchise's iconic halo-topped A centered in a colorful crest stitched in gold, red, lime, and brown. Flip it over and the under brim is a full neon lime green — bright, clean, and unmistakably Hat Club. The back panel features the MLB batterman logo recolored in red, gold, and lime to match the theme. This one came with a Hat Club "Burger Jack" cartoon enamel hat pin included.

Angel Stadium opened its doors on April 19, 1966 — one of only a handful of MLB venues that has been home to the same franchise for over half a century. The patch on this hat isn't just a number; it's 50 years of Nolan Ryan, Rod Carew, the Donnies Moore and Moore era, and the 2002 World Series run all living in one building. Hat Club's Del Taco colorway takes the whole package somewhere unexpected — swapping blue and silver for red, khaki, and lime green, channeling fast-food SoCal nostalgia and turning a heritage release into something with real streetwear energy. Size 7 1/4, one in stock. When it's gone, it's gone.

How to Wear It

The Streetwear Edit
Pair with a washed red or cream graphic tee, khaki Carhartt double-knee pants, and New Balance 990v4s in the grey/brown colorway to pull out that earth-tone visor. The lime under brim calls for a pop somewhere — lime laces on your 990s or a clean pair of Nike SB Dunk Lows in a complementary colorway does it. Keep it relaxed: oversized hoodie in olive or oatmeal, no logo.

Her Way
Wear it low with a fitted brown or terracotta long-sleeve, wide-leg cream linen trousers, and tan New Balance 574s or a simple white leather sneaker. Let the hat do the talking — keep jewelry minimal, gold hoops only, and tie the look together with a structured brown tote. The lime pop from the under brim reads as a subtle accent rather than a statement when everything else is neutral and fitted.

The Archives
This is a Hat Club exclusive built around a specific stadium milestone — 50 years of Angel Stadium, commemorated on a side patch that most people will ask you about the moment they spot it. Stack it with other Hat Club or New Era exclusives from the California/SoCal MLB canon: a California Angels desert camo, a Dodgers pink UV, anything from the West Coast collector shelf. The Del Taco colorway places it firmly in the "you had to know" tier — it references a regional fast-food chain that's synonymous with Southern California, the same way the hat itself references a ballpark that defined Anaheim for generations. This is a piece for the person who understands that the story behind the hat is as important as the hat itself.
